Hey,

Welcome to my blog. I talk about make up and food and all sorts of stuff in between so I hope you enjoy!

Glossier Cloudpaint

Glossier Cloudpaint

The Glossier Cloud Paint is a lightweight, buildable gel-cream blush that now comes in six different shades. The colors are made to look good on a wide range of skin tones and while the blush goes on like a liquid, it sets enough to stay on the skin while still looking natural. The first four shades launched in March, 2017. At the time I gave them a 5/5 star rating in this post. A year later, my opinion has not changed. The Cloud Paint's power lies in its ease and simplicity.

Haze is advertised as a berry shade, but on my skin tone it looks more magenta. (For reference, my skin tone is around a MAC NC25 or NC30.) Dusk is a brownish nude that looks a little rosier on my cheeks. Beam is a coral peach that complements my skin tone best, in my opinion. Lastly, Puff is a cool toned pink that surprisingly looks nice on not-pale skin!

Now just a few days ago, Glossier launched two new shades of Cloud Paint perfect for darker skin tones–Dawn and Storm. Dawn is a sunny coral and Storm is advertised as a warm rose, which I found to be closer to a dark berry on my skin.

Overall, the two new shades go on and look beautiful. If your skin tone is in the light to medium range and you would like to stick to neutral blushes, these two might not be the colors for you. However, if you want to try a bolder cheek or if your skin tone is in the medium tan to dark range, these will be great:)
